Giveaway Update!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will not be announcing the winner to my February giveaway today. I received some pretty bad news last week, and now I'm scrambling to get everything in order. So I hope to have the winner picked by the end of the week. I'm sorry for making you wait, but I promise to have a winner picked soon, so the winner can enjoy their new beaded cuff. Thank you for your patience.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I found out at the beginning of the month that I had two months to find a new job, because the chair of the department wanted to get away from research and only do clinical studies. So I lost my job and it doesn't really have anything to do with the economy, but now I need to find another job in this crappy economy. But this morning I got the news that we will have jobs till the end of the academic year (July 1st). This lessons the stress (a little). I'm hoping to find a position here on campus or with the county. I am also going to take this time to push my business a little more. I keep telling myself this will all work out for the better in the end. Thank you again for all your kindness :D

I hope you manage to find whatever will be the best for you. My husband was laid off in December 2002 and found a job within six months at a much higher salary than the job he was laid off from. While he was laid off, I started my business - so we ended up in a much better position financially and emotionally. The six months of unemployment was really difficult for the entire family but it all ended up okay. I pray that you will have nothing but the best coming your way.
