Weekend Recap!

I hope everyone had a fun and exciting weekend. And very enjoyable St. Patty's Day. Summer has started early here in WI, we had 80 degree weather this past weekend.  It was superb.  J and I had last Friday off (we had to recover from the Ska show we went to the night before), so we enjoyed some much needed time outside.  We took a walk down State St., something we haven't done in a very long time.  Stopping at some of the shops and then wondering up the the square for some dinner.  It was quite enjoyable and reminded us why we love living in Madison so much.  Now we just have to make sure that we get out more often and take advantage of the wonderful lakes and outdoor activities.   

But the fun can only last so long, so it was back to the grind the rest of the weekend.  J worked tirelessly on homework while I got a bunch of little things done around the house.

And what is the most exciting thing I finished?  Well, thank you for asking.  I have all the color on the walls in my studio.  So that just leaves trim and I'm done painting!!!  It was so exciting to put that last coat on the walls.  I'm hoping to have some pictures by tomorrow if it's not too overcast today.

I honestly can't wait to get my studio done.  Not only will it be nice to have a room that's all my own, but having everything stuck in boxes is killing me.  I didn't get any projects done because I just couldn't get to anything.  But with any luck, I'll be finished with this by the end of the week.  Fingers crossed.
