A New Blanket

I know it's spring and summer is quickly approaching, but I made another fur blanket.  This was the most colorful, fun one I've made to date.  It also was the easiest to make because I decided to use my serger to sew the two pieces of fabric together.

Now I don't have any idea why I didn't try this before.  No I guess I decided to punish myself on the last three blankets I made.  The serger made it so much easier.

I love the colors in this one.  The green polka dot fabric is so much fun.  It's such a soft blanket to cuddle up with on a colder night.

I also made J a hammerhead shark pillow, but it looks like our little lump of pug has claimed it as her own.  I guess J will have to fight her for it.  :-P

And just to remind everyone, I'm having a sale in my etsy store.  Use coupon code MAYFLOWERS to get 25% your order, including clearance items and patterns.  I'll be using the money to buy a new battery powered cash register for shows this summer.  So stop by my store today and save a little money!

Pink and green is such a great color combination, and of course I love the polka dots. What a great idea to use the serger for it.
