Friday Freebie

Hello Friday. I'm pretty glad to see you.  It's been a long week.  We got hit with our first major snow storm on Sunday.  I've started working out again (ugh).  And I've started working on a project at work that runs for a continuous 7 days and one of those days is 16 hrs long.  But that's how research goes, weekends and long days.  Oh well.

I haven't really gotten any beadwork done this week.  I just haven't had time.  But I am working on a custom leather order.  I can't wait to see this one finished.  It's not that intricate, but I think it will be cool.

Luckily we're going out tonight for dinner and drinks to celebrate a friend birthday.  It will be a nice little break from everything.

Friday Freebie

Happy Friday everyone!  We made it through another week.  And what a week it was.  I had to sadly take down all of the Halloween decorations. Now it's time for Thanksgiving and then Christmas.  Can you believe it's almost Christmas?  Crazy.  I finished up the last of the house painting.  I'm pretty sure Monday was my last chance at that, the forecast looks like cool fall days from now on.  Hmmm, what else?  Oh yeah, I finished up a custom cuff and I started on my first gauntlet.  That's exciting.  I also had some of my work displayed in the Ebling Library on the UW Campus.  That was exciting and the reception was fun.  This is the first time my art has been displayed in public.  I'll have some photos and more on that next week.

I think that's about it.  It was a exciting week, but I'm ready for a little relaxing this weekend.  So let's get to that freebie, shall we.
