A New Necklace

I am going to be listing a new necklace in my etsy store today. I really like this necklace. It's a really pretty Ndeble herringbone rope in a wonderful teal with light purple stripes. I then added a handmade lampwork bead as the focal. The focal bead is purple with green stripes and dots. I etched the bead to give it a matte finish. I love this effect. This necklace is simple, yet really beautiful on. I seriously considered keeping this necklace for myself.

The lampwork bead was made in my small glass studio here in Southeastern Wisconsin and kiln annealed for lasting beauty and durability.

As of right now I call this my Tribal Necklace, but hopefully as I'm writing up my etsy description I'll come up with a better title.

***UPDATE***
I finally posted this necklace on Etsy. I decided to go with the name Chloros, it's the Greek word for Green. There are a couple different spellings, but I figured this one was the easiest to figure out. So if you like you can check it out in my etsy store!

That's so pretty! I love the colors you used -- the combination of teal and purple is one of the ones on my "list" of colors to try together. :-)

Thank you all very much. The green and purple combo seems to be my favorite, so I'm trying to get away from it. But it's just so pretty together!
