I've finally got most of the bead embroidery done and the leather attached and the edge on. I like how it's coming along so far. Last night I started on fringe. Oh how I hate fringe. I say this every time I work on a project with fringe. I just have the hardest time ever with it. I think these four strands of fringe took me an hour to complete because I took them apart about a billion times. At first I was just playing around with different looks, but then when I decided on something, I just kept making mistakes and breaking beads (The one vintage beads I'm using have fairly small holes). It was so annoying. I finally just called it a night and set it aside. I'll pick up work on it tonight. Hopefully my fringe will cooperate for me tonight.
As soon as I'm done with the fringe I need to get the spiral rope started. I don't think I'm going to have enough beads to finish that up, so I also need to get a small order placed. This project is taking me a lot longer then most projects I work on, but I know it will be worth it. I'm already pretty in love with it and the pictures just don't do it justice. I can't wait to get it done and get some good pictures of it.

that is so amazingly detailed. I can't wait to see it finished.
Thank you Grace. :-)
I don't think I'd have the patience to work on something like this. I made a tiny pin about a year ago, and it took forever. It IS beautiful! Good luck with the fringe - I like the look! {:-D
Thanks, I'm going crazy with the fringe, but I'm almost there. :-)
