So Productive!

I just want to remind everyone (if you didn't already) to get out there and vote today!!

I am so very proud of myself the last couple of days.  I have been so very productive, not just around the house, but also with some beadwork.  It's been a long time since I sat down and beaded.  It makes me a little sad, but sometimes that's just how it is.

Now I don't have any pictures today.  I know, big let down, but I will have some soon.  I finished up my latest tapestry, I am 90% done with a beaded pendent, and I glued three new tapestries (I glued the cabochons on the fabric, now they just need the beadwork).  So I promise to get some pictures up either tomorrow or Thursday.  I'm too excited to share them with you not too :-)

But I do have a quick picture of the other project I'm finishing up.  My first crochet afghan.  

Look at her, she's so close to being finished I can taste it.  It's already Nacho and Yoda's new favorite blanket.  Every time I get it out to work on it, they seem to come out of nowhere to cuddle up on it.  I think I'm going to try a little bit of a decorative edge as soon as I finish up this thing of brown yarn.  Hopefully I can find one that is pretty, but perfect for a beginner like me.

I also have planned to start working on some washcloths to give as Christmas gifts.  I've had a lot of people compliment my little dish cloths, so I thought it would be nice to make up a couple sets to use as stocking stuffers.
