Kokino - Beaded Hoop Earrings

So I've been hard at work the last couple of days. I'm trying to get some winter items done (not ornaments, lord knows I have plenty of those done) and I've been working on some items for next month. I can't wait to get pictures of those up.

I also am working on a custom order. It's for a really cool customer and I'll share some pictures soon of the progress.

But for now I have these fantastic beaded hoops to show today. I love these beads. They remind me of strawberries, good enough to eat.

I'm really liking these hoops. I was pretty tempted to keep this pair for myself, but alas, I decided against that. So now they are available for someone else to love HERE in my etsy store. I know they will make someone very happy.

Wow it has been a long time since my last post. I've been so busy with so many different things that I've forgoten to keep up with my blog. I'm sorry.

So lets take a look at what's on my beading board right now.

I'm getting ready for my next art show (this Saturday). I'll be showing my art at the Donna Lexa Memorial Art Fair in Wales, WI. You can find more info HERE.

So this is what I've been working on. I am making more beaded hoop earrings, because everyone seems to love them, and I'm working on different interlocking triangles. I just think these are so fun to make. I also am trying to get a few more lace cuffs ready to go. I have just the one done and who knows if I'll have time to get anymore done. But I'll try.

I'm busy, busy, busy getting ready for this show. This one is going to be fun. It's on the Glacial Drumlin Bike trail and the weather is supposed to be beautiful. I can't wait.

Oranges - Beaded Hoops

Well life has been something else lately. You know the saying, "When it rains, It pours!" Well isn't that the truth. But enough about that. I have a new pair of beaded hoops, which is way more important then boring life stuffs.

This awesome pair of earrings is made using silver lined Delica seed beads in a super bright shiny orange. I then added little glass bi-cone beads in the center. They are so cute.

I like these earrings a lot. They are bright and fun, so they can be worn during the summer months. And they would also make a great addition to any fall outfit. Multipurpose; that's the best kind of accessory.

These hoops were part of a whole bunch of new beaded hoops I made up, but they are the only ones I have left. I sold all of the new ones at my last show. Which is awesome, but I sold them before I got the chance to take any pictures :(

Purple Hoops

So I've been pretty lazy during my time off from work. I had such a long list of accomplishments, and I have only actually accomplished a couple of them. I've been a little lazy when it comes to blog posting and posting new items in my store. I also have been so far behind on catching up on all my comments, I promise I'll get to them soon. I promise.

I have got a few new things made up (oh no, now I need to drag out the photo tent again and take new pictures).

I have a few new cuffs that I need to get some new pictures of. I'm very pleased with them.

But I also have a new pair of purple beaded hoops up in my store. I love these hoops. The purple beads are so rich and beautiful. The purple and silver beads are both silver lined, so they really catch the light and sparkle. I'm loving these so much (okay I know, I love purple and always will). They just look so beautiful on.

I really like making the beaded hoops, because they use a smaller amount of beads, I can use all my "left over" beads. I have so many more color combos that I can't wait to try out.

So it's snowing here again. Which is nice, it's been so warm here almost all of the snow has melted. Lets see if we get all of it back.

Well I'm off for now to work on a new cuff and to work on my own website. I'm hoping to have that baby up and running by my birthday next year; so in a couple months. I can't wait to have one central location for everything.

Up for grabs this month is a great pair of beaded hoops, some of my favorite. These hoops are fun and ready to dress up any Christmas outfit. They are all hand beaded with silver beads and accented with a fun cranberry, and if you look close, the cranberry beads have a rainbow finish. The earwires are also all hand made with sterling silver wire.

Oh how sweet it is!

Oh I am in such a good mood. I got my camera back this afternoon. It's such a good feeling to be reunited with my baby.

So I've been pretty busy since I've gotten home from work. I have three new things listed. Two on ArtFire and one on Etsy. Yay!

First off we have this great multi-strand necklace. It's made of Purple Czech seed beads, that have a slight rainbow finish. I then used some great light blue glass bi-cone beads to accent the purple. This necklace is finished off with beaded end caps in a matching light blue. All finding are sterling silver.

I am such a purple freak, I sometimes I feel obsessed.

Next are some new beaded hoop earrings. I am really addicted to these right now. I love how they look. They are so fun and funky. And I've learned that a lot of other people like them too (thanks to everyone that took the poll).

The first pair are really fun. What's more fun then a bright green and dark purple pair of earrings.

These earrings are made using tiny little Delica beads accented with dark purple glass bi-cone beads. Finished with sterling silver ear wires. These earrings are about 2 1/4 inches long.

These really remind me of Mardi Gras. And of course purple and green are one of my favorite color combination. Okay, it IS my favorite color combo.

The second pair of beaded hoops are made with some of my favorite beads. Pictures just do not do them justice.

I love the shimmer of these beads. I've had them for a while and just didn't know what to do with them. I loved the colors, but how to display their beauty? I feel that these earrings really show off all the shimmer these beads posses.

I then paired them with bronze freshwater pearls. They just look so pretty together.

These hoops are also about 2 1/4 inches long.
